About Us
Calico and Jeans has been in existence for over 50 years! During that time we have experienced many dances, accomplishments and changes.
Please note the dates and times of our Sunday afternoon dances on the "News" page. We enjoy tremendously dancing with our neighboring clubs and look forward to members from other clubs dancing and dining with us on these Sundays.
Workshops are at the present being taught by President Ed Centers, since our caller has recently retired.

We make the most of our dance time by learning, laughing and enjoying each other.
After all, it's not often we do something just for fun. Even our leisure activities usually have some expected outcome; either we're competing with the hope of winning, or we're producing something tangible, like painting or crafts.

But to us, square dancing is simply fun, fitness and friendship set to music.
We hold workshops weekly from September through May from 7:30 - 9:30 pm. Half of the class is "pure class" when beginners are walked through the moves, and the rest is actually dancing, when the caller puts the moves in a sequence to create the dance. Regular attendance at the classes will have you out on the floor with the pros in no time!
