A special hello and thanks to all of those who drifted out of the snow banks to attend our Beans and Jeans Dance. Friends, fun, food and dance are the perfect combination to begin Springtime.
It's time to awaken from hibernation and dance the rest of the year away. Each Monday night we will be having a workshop and just look at our fantastic Sunday schedule.

20th Anniversary
Good friends, tasty food, sunshine and a wonderful host and hostess is a minimal description of the picnic held on Ed and Kathy's farm on August 28. The day was absolutely wonderful from sitting on porch and around the table socializing to playing "corn in the hole" (a country game). This was the 20th year that the Calico and Jeans Square Dance Club has been invited to picnic "on the farm" on Farley Hill. Over looking the grape vineyards, viewing the "little white church" in the distance and
watching the goats traipse around made a relaxing environment in which to picnic.

We certainly enjoyed dancing for Hidden Valley at the Summit Place this month. They fed us a tasty lunch, then we merrily danced for the delightful residents. We are blessed each time we dance at Hidden Valley.

Our sister club at White Sulphur Springs invited us to dance with them at the nursing home in their area this past month. It is always a pleasure to dance at these events and to dance with other clubs.

Thank you Ed and Kathy for your community involvement and giving us the opportunity to dance for various organizations.
